ORION Collection

A living collector build documenting the ORION universe — the masked persona performed by American singer Jimmy Ellis. Not a “finished archive”, but a checklist that keeps growing with every verified find.

Pre-release build: the full database, track search, and “My Collection” progress tools are in development. Bookmark this site — updates will continuously add releases, variants, and verified evidence.

What this is

ORION Collection is a collector-first hub: a structured archive + checklist documenting releases, variants, track listings and ORION-related memorabilia (performed by Jimmy Ellis). The goal is a reference that’s fast to browse, easy to verify, and addictive to complete.

  • Collector-first structure (browse, compare, verify)
  • Variants + duplicates support (because ORION is full of them)
  • Full track/song search across all formats
  • Daily “Release of the Day” spotlight (random pick)
  • Optional value/price tracking (collection spend + estimated value)

Why it exists

The ORION world is rich — and messy: rare pressings, reissues, lookalikes, and confusing overlaps. This project is built to bring clarity: one place to identify items, compare details, and preserve collector knowledge — without marketplace noise.

Project status

This domain is live early so collectors can already bookmark it, share it, and find the community. The next steps focus on the “sticker album” feeling: mark what you own, see your progress, and discover what’s missing.

  • Archive + database: in development
  • “My Collection” tracking + progress (%): planned
  • Track search (song → all releases): planned (fixed feature)
  • Release spotlight + variations/duplicates: planned (fixed feature)
  • Value/price tracking: planned (fixed feature)

Submit a Find / Variant

Help expand ORION Collection. If you own a variant, a rare pressing, a different label, a unique insert, or anything that should be documented — submit it for review. Approved submissions will be credited (optional).

→ Open Submission Form

Submissions are reviewed before publishing. Please include clear photos (front/back/spine/media if possible).

How credits work

You can choose whether your name may be shown as a contributor. If you enable credit, approved entries can display “Submitted by …” (or your preferred name). If not, your submission stays anonymous to the public.

You can also add notes (“chatbox”) with details, context, where you found it, and what makes it different.
